Excellent pizza! Buffalo chicken is fantastic! The people are very nice and I didn't wait long.

Mamma mia! I love Villaggio's! Even before you walk in the aroma of pizza is clouded at the door! As you walk in, on the right hand side you can see the staff make the pizza from scratch! You can take a seat and order when the waiter comes or grab your pizza to go or carry out! My personal favorite is the Hawaiian pizza, don't hate on my pineapple please! The garlic knots with marinara sauce makes you want to lick your fingers even though it's super greasy (worth it)! The only downfall is the drive. It is in Newberry, which is 20 minutes from Gainesville and the parking lot is a little right but the pizza is worth it! The cheesecake was also a hidden gem on the menu! The simple flavor danced in my mouth, I wanted to order an entire wheel! So some advice, do good, be nice and order Villaggios!

Best garlic rolls in Gainesville/Newberry! Pizza is amazing. Inside of the restaurant is very small and dated, but authenticity New York style. They know many customers by name. Very friendly staff. We will be coming back again!!

I usually love this place but don't get there very often. Sadly, I didn't have a good experience there last Thursday. I stopped in for lunch by myself and took a seat at an empty table. The server was harried, and when she finally took note of me she asked if I would be dining in. Then she continued to forget about me after bringing me the menu so she didn't get around to taking my order for quite some time. The pizza crust was under-done and a bit gooey. The server didn't bring my drink with the meal so I asked for one to go. It was mostly ice. She rang me up at the cash register and over-charged me for the three garlic knots that I bought to take out. I'm hoping this was just an isolated experience.

The only authentic thing about this pizzeria were the friendly Mexican staff and the cannolis. Otherwise the pizza came close but still needs work. I would give this location another try but the sauce needs work. Was not impressed by the mushroom pizza.
